The Grandwood Homes process
Invariably the design sketch captures most of your ideas and is an excellent stimulus to bring out more. By taking the sketch home and reviewing it a few times over a week, your thinking is distilled. You then share your review with our team and we refine the concept, and present again.
When the design meets your approval, we submit the design to the Local Authority for Development Approval. During the period toward planning approval, we work with you to build a specification of the items and finishes for your new home. Once that is completed we prepare an estimate to build the home relative to the design and specification. At this stage our work with you is running parallel with that of the Local Authority. The Local Authority may require amendments to the design which we will discuss with you and make changes as required in order to obtain approval.
